When Rebecca (my glamorous photographer) and I were invited to Dublin to do some promotional yoga photos, we were quick to jump at the opportunity and book our tickets. Unfortunately, the company involved had to make a change, but we decided to still head over and spread the yoga love. I couldn't turn down the opportunity of being on the wall of fame in Dublin after all!
We had a small amount of time and Dublin is a big city so we decided to focus on capturing the essence of the Temple Bar area. This place amazed us with the quaint local bars filled with talented singers, beautiful cobbled streets and artistic buildings.
As soon as we landed in Ireland the grey skies didn’t fill us with much hope, but we were lucky to find our hotel well placed to get around without getting too wet.
Having come over from Spain, we found the whole experience quite exciting. We wrapped up warm and embraced the early Christmas spirit that was apparent in all the shops and bars.
The locals were quick to welcome us and we created quite an audience at times. But the best moment was being told I had a beautiful bottom!
We had a wonderful evening at The Auld Dubliner and Temple Bar itself. We made many new friends and told everyone about the benefits of yoga, whilst partaking in a local beverage.
All in all we had the most wonderful time and hope to be invited back again soon. Although a few new locations have come to light in the last few days, so watch this space!
